This pendulum is good not only for daily connection to your subconscious and higher self, it can also be used for clearing your energy field.  My way of doing so is to ask the pendulum to circle counterclockwise while clearing unwanted energies or the energies that do not serve me anymore in my auric field.  I then ask the pendulum to stop once they are released.  I won't forget to thank these energies while being cleaned. Why?  Because even the so-called negative energies once helped me in many ways, like anger helps me realize to stand up for the broken boundary, so we can release the old energies with loving thanks.

Once the pendulum stops circling, I will ask the pendulum to circle clockwise to bring in new, positive energies like "Joy", "Self-Love", "Compassion", etc.
